Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

At Prayer Space, we take your privacy and the sanctity of your personal spiritual journal seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is absolutely necessary to provide you with a secure and personalized journaling experience. This includes:

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and authentication data.
  • Journal Content: Your prayers, notes, and records are stored securely on our servers.
  • Usage Data: Basic analytics to help us improve the platform (with your consent).

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to:

  • Provide and maintain our Service.
  • Secure your account and journal entries.
  • Notify you about changes to our Service.
  • Provide customer support.

3. Data Security and Privacy

Your journal entries are private. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or spiritual journal contents with any third parties under any circumstances, except when required by law. Your prayer content is always stored encrypted on our servers.

You may additionally enable optional end-to-end encryption in your account settings. With it enabled, your prayers are encrypted and decrypted only on your own devices, using a passphrase known only to you — our servers store ciphertext they cannot read, and no one at Prayer Space can access your prayer content. Please note: if you lose both your passphrase and the recovery key shown when you enable this feature, your encrypted prayers cannot be recovered by anyone. Dates, timestamps, and your account details (name, email, timezone) remain unencrypted, as they are needed to operate the service, and the end-to-end guarantee applies from the moment your existing entries finish migrating to it.

To help you spot unauthorised access, we keep a record of sign-ins to your account: the browser and operating system reported by your device, the network address you connected from, and the approximate country and city it maps to. You can view this history, and end any session, in your account settings. Records are kept for 90 days and then deleted. This information is shown only to you — it is never sold or shared, and no third-party geolocation service is used. We also email you when your account is signed in to from a device we have not seen before.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your information at any time. You can permanently delete your account and all associated journal entries through your account settings.

5. Contact Us
